Designed for permanent installation, this compact, recessed induction hob from Sterling Power is the ideal cooking solution for off-grid living. Perfect for use with a 12V battery system (preferably lithium) and a suitable inverter, it delivers powerful, efficient cooking with up to 2000W of heat output.
The sleek, low-profile design saves valuable worktop space, while the integrated touch controls offer precise 8-level power and temperature adjustment, a cooking timer with alarm, safety lock, and clear power level display.
Induction technology heats cookware directly, making it far more energy-efficient than conventional hobs. Without a naked flame or open heating element, it's a safer choice for enclosed spaces like campervans, motorhomes, caravans, and boats. Only the area beneath the pan heats up, reducing risk and improving efficiency.
Crafted with an easy-to-clean, A-grade black crystal glass plate, the hob also features comprehensive safety systems, including over-temperature, over-voltage, over-current protection, and auto shut-off if no pan is detected after 1 minute.
Supplied with a Schuko plug and UK adaptor, the hob runs from mains power or a 230V pure sinewave inverter. For full performance, we recommend an inverter rated above 2000W to prevent overload and ensure reliable operation.
